I love the rich brown velvet and the way the cowl neckline drapes. The halter shape looks clean, and the maxi length gives it a graceful line.
The brown velvet has a deep, warm look that I really like. The cowl neck falls softly instead of sitting stiffly at the chest. I also like how the halter neckline leaves the shoulders open and gives the top a simple shape. The maxi skirt has a long, smooth line and does not look bulky. Comfortable enough to move around in, with an easy drape from top to bottom.
I liked the brown color and the soft velvet surface right away. The halter neckline gives the dress a nice open shape, and the cowl detail adds some movement around the top. The maxi length looks sleek and falls straight. My only issue is that the neck area runs a little snug, especially after wearing it for a bit. It is a pretty dress, but I preferred more room there.
This dress has the kind of simple design I gravitate toward. The rust brown velvet looks rich, and the fabric drapes nicely through the long skirt. I like the cowl neckline because it softens the front and does not sit flat. The halter cut frames the shoulders well, and the maxi length gives the whole dress a smooth, lean shape. It feels comfortable and looks especially nice from the side.
The halter neckline and cowl front are my favorite parts of this dress. They give the top a soft shape, and the brown velvet adds depth. The maxi length falls nicely and creates a clean silhouette. I like the simple, finished look.
